Day 06 - My day today

ethanmarsDay 06 - My day today
I had been hoping for something more interesting to say on this day, but unfortunately today has been really uneventful. Shaun is with his mother this week and Norman was too busy to make the trip out, so I've spent my weekend alone so far.
I guess I rolled out of bed at around 11:15, or 11:30. I wasn't really looking at the clock so much, since it wasn't as if I had anything to do. I had a decent night's sleep for the first time in days, which put my day off to a good start. I guess it didn't really make much difference overall though. I didn't bother making much of a breakfast without anyone else around, but I managed to find something quick to eat. As much as I enjoy cooking, it's really not the same if I can't share it with someone.
Despite all my free time I hardly got any work done today. Solitude doesn't really help me concentrate I guess. I like having distractions around, otherwise I wind up thinking about things I don't really want to think about.
Anyway, I decided to take advantage of the nice afternoon and sat out in the backyard for a while. I fell asleep at some point, and didn't wake up until it started to get chilly out. The sun was going down by the time I came in, so my arms are just covered in mosquito bites. It smarts, but I guess it was my own fault. I felt a little guilty for wasting my day like that, but I guess I needed the time to relax. Unfortunately I missed a call while I was napping too.. Actually a few calls, all of them from Norman. I think I might have hurt his feelings a little and I haven't been able to reach him yet. I hope he's alright.
I tried getting a little more work done, but it still didn't amount to very much. There's always tomorrow, I guess. I ended up reheating some spaghetti from the other night for dinner, and made a huge mess out of myself. I just got out of the shower and I'll probably spend the rest of my night doing laundry. Before that though, I think I might try calling Norman again. I just hope the rest of the week doesn't turn out to be like today was.
