Day 02 - First Love

This.. This really takes me back. I guess like a lot of people, I had a high school sweetheart. Her name was Maggy. Well, I guess by the time we were together she had started calling herself just "Mag", but she was always Maggy to me. We'd been friends since we were kids, always skipping rocks together and roaming all over the place every summer. It was.. a simpler time, I guess. At least for me it was.
As we got older and started growing from kids to adults, our relationship changed. I didn't realize what was happening between us at first, but she sure showed me. We grew so much together. Our time in high school was just fantastic. But.. nothing lasts forever as they say, and we grew apart after graduation. I don't regret having to move on, though at the time I was really torn up about it. I'm glad that things happened the way they did, or I never would have had a lot of experiences I'm thankful for today. I suppose I can still remember her fondly, and I hope she does the same for me.
